Shield™ Fiber Base Light Rose #928 is a professional, smart-reinforcing base coat designed to strengthen and repair weak, thin, or damaged nails. It features a unique formulation embedded with invisible synthetic fibers that act as a protective mesh, creating a durable shield that prevents breakage and splitting.
Enriched with Vitamin E and Calcium, it actively conditions the natural nail plate. Shield™ Fiber Base is available in 6 nudes for every skin tone. Colors matched across Shield™ Ceramic base, Classic Gel, and Jelly Gel. The HEMA-free formula reduces the risk of itching, peeling, and skin redness, making it an excellent choice for sensitive clients.

Recommended Application
Shield™ Fiber Base can be used in a builder application technique only.
- Prepare the nail surface and apply Dehydrator and Bonder.
- Apply a thin layer of Shield™ Rubber Base and cure for 30 seconds in a UV/LED lamp.
- Apply a thin, even layer of Shield™ Fiber Base on all nails and cure for 60 seconds.
- Apply a second, thicker builder layer of Shield™ Fiber Base
- to form the structure and apex, curing nail by nail for 30 seconds.
- Cure both hands together for an additional 60 seconds.
- Finish with your choice of Shield™ Top Coat and cure for 60 seconds.
Soak-off Removal:
- Sanitize hands.
- Use a 120/180 grit file to remove the top coat until the shine is completely gone.
- Soak a wipe in Polish Remover Red Lizard and wrap it in foil on each nail.
- Leave it to soak off for 15 minutes.
- Remove the foil.
- Use a cuticle pusher to remove excess product from the nail.
- Buff and shape the nail.
Removal with Drill:
- Sanitize hands.
- Use a drilling machine to remove 90% of the material.
- Check to ensure there are no remaining pockets.
- For complete removal, proceed with soak-off or proceed with refill.
Note: Shield™ Fiber Base is a professional system that cures completely under modern LED, UV/LED, and UV lamps. It can be removed by filing off 90% of the material with an e-file/nail drill or by filing away the top coat and soaking in acetone remover for 15 minutes. Always use over a Shield™ Rubber Base foundation.
